Designing Tractive’s first cross‑ecosystem campaign to bring high‑intent users into r/tractive — launching July 2026
Reddit is one of the most powerful yet misunderstood platforms in the social ecosystem. It’s where polished marketing falls flat and authenticity becomes currency. It’s also where Tractive’s most passionate, skeptical, and technically savvy users gather. But Reddit doesn’t grow from within — it grows when the right people bring the right audience to the right conversation.
That insight shaped the Reddit x Influencer campaign: a 90‑day pilot I crafted to connect Tractive’s influencer ecosystem with the r/tractive community for the first time. The strategy is fully built and approved, with launch set for July 20, 2026.
Organic Reddit growth is slow, especially for brands. Discovery is limited, and skepticism is high. Tractive needed a way to:
accelerate subscriber growth
attract power users rather than flippant support‑driven traffic
build credibility through trusted voices
create a repeatable funnel into r/tractive
strengthen the community’s depth of stories, hacks, and insights
Influencers became the bridge.
I designed a cross‑channel funnel that used creators not as advertisers, but as narrative guides — people who could translate Tractive’s value into real stories, real hacks, and real curiosity.
I narrowed the roster to two high‑impact profiles that mapped directly to our Reddit culture.
The Storyteller
Emotional, narrative‑driven, cliffhanger arcs. Ideal for lost‑pet rescues, heat maps, and “you won’t believe this” moments.
The Lifestyle Curator
Aesthetic, functional, hack‑driven content. Ideal for harness setups, battery‑saving tricks, and gear optimization.
The campaign followed a structured, end‑to‑end system designed for clarity, efficiency, and measurable impact.
Creator Briefs Rooted in Reddit Culture
I developed platform‑native briefs grounded in real community insights, giving creators the language, stories, and high‑intent themes that resonate with r/tractive's culture. The goal was simple: the creator content needed to speak with our organic community on Meta and TikTok, not at it.
End‑to‑End Campaign Roadmap
I built a clear workflow from concept submission through approvals, posting windows, boosting, and UTM tracking. This kept Social, Influencer, and Paid aligned and ensured the campaign could run smoothly across teams and time zones.
Boosting Strategy and Performance Modeling
I partnered with Paid Social to model projected performance: more than 5,000 UTM‑tracked clicks per asset, a $12–$15 CPS, and over 1M impressions per boosted video. This gave the campaign a measurable, efficient path to growth.
Narrative Bridge Into Reddit
I crafted creator CTAs that positioned r/tractive as the home for the full story, map, hack, or data. This reframed Reddit as a destination for deeper value — not a support channel — and created a clear, curiosity‑driven funnel into the community.
This campaign hasn’t launched yet, but the work behind it already feels meaningful. It’s rooted in real stories, real user language, and the belief that communities grow when you give people a place to go deeper. July 2026 will be the first test of this system in motion, and I’m proud of the intention and care that went into building it.
